Currently our whole town depends on Comcast cable which is the only high speed internet provider. Nobody is particularly thrilled with Comcast's service which makes a lot of us interested in alternatives.
Anyway his initial report is that it works well, setup was very easy and it appears to be faster than Comcast.
I know that is pretty thin but he's got it on free trial for 30 days so I will update this thread in the future since I'm looking to switch if it turns out good. It's always good to have more than one broadband option.
I have looked into it a bit here. It would be about the same price I am paying for Comcast but with a bit faster connection. Need to do more research on the reliability and all that. Other than Comcast being a horrible company we have never really had problems with the service. It seems to stay connected when it should be and even our somewhat slow connection is still plenty fast for what we need.
