The /r thread mentions losing 50% of users. That feels about right. I can live without porn, but a mega-loss of users will negatively impact the volume of their posts in other subreddits that I do use for news & tech sources.
I'm not worried about porn either, but IPO means pushing to new. and at some point you know they're going to kill old. New is basically useless to me.

Same. Userscripts *may* be able to mimic the 'old' format. I sure hope so.
Looks like it'll be a UserStyle, not a Userscript. I know little about UserStyles, but I see a few recent attempts to convert reddit to 'classic' UI.
