BTW, I'm up to 24oz of coffee/day and am enjoying it again.
"Researchers have identified more than 200 types of misfolded proteins in rats that could be associated with age-related cognitive decline."

safe to say you're immune at this point, RC
I drink 30oz jet black daily --occasionally 40. Plus 2L water per transplant docs. Everybody's happy.
Anecdotally,I'm deep-tracking the major medical issues I have and noticed that some of the coffee research studies I see in my feeds do seem to align with some positive results I'm having.
I used to be glad that I don't like coffee, but as more and more correlations come out, I'm a bit sad I don't like it now.
I love to drink coffee as a beverage the way some people drink ice tea or coke. I've switched to decaf a few times over the years, but I've given up on that in the last couple of years and am sitting comfortably in my caffeine addiction.

Sadly, caffeine has lost a lot of its punch for me. I get a little boost in the morning after 20oz but no solid buzz like my middle-age years. A cup in the early evening doesn't bother my sleep very often. I used to have to quit by 4-5pm.
I miss the buzz.
>I miss the buzz.
You are probably at a constant state of elevated caffeine so it feels like a base line. Have you tried to gradually mixing in decaf over a period of time to lower your level and then bring it back up?
>gradually
That's a good idea.
