Thank you all for your knowledge, wisdom and tolerance!
The word "community" has been utterly hijacked. Malcolm Gladwell invites me to join "the Pushkin community" for just $10/month. This is the one place that feels like an actual online community to me and I thank you all for that!
:)
I saw the title and I was nervous for a moment as I thought you were about to retire the keyboard on us. Glad you are not!
What are you up to? Oct. 2010

That's quite a trip down Memory lane.
I'm 195lbs. (88kg) at 52 years old now (and still trying to figure things out).
Other than a post you made in Mods naming forum categories, that's the 1st post is this episode of Th3core.

Certainly not. The Core is a bright spot of moderate and intelligent conversation in a world where everyone seems to be yelling.
Strangely, if I sit down to write a blog post, I run out of steam in a couple hundred words. I set out to write a couple hundred words on the Core and two thousands words later realize I've gotten rather carried away. I'm much more intellectually stimulated by the discussion format than I am sitting alone thinking. As long as y'all tolerate my long-winded rants , I'll keep at it :-)

That's the way a lot of things work; the internal pressure and expectation hobbles the flow.
>> rants
I treasure your rants. :)
And Keep doing hard things :)
Like wise Tom. I truly enjoy coming here and talking to you guys whom I consider my good friends all around :)
Thank you!

Well, you may be the last person on the planet still wearing a Taken For Ranted t-shirt ;-) I don't think even I have any left.

Still plenty of challenge coins though if anyone wants one. Those came long after retiring The Ranter persona... somewhere around 2005 I decided that there was no shortage of ranting on the web. I did come up #1 for "bush is evil" for a couple of years even though that phrase never appeared on my blog, but once things started going poorly in the wars, there was a lot of competition suddenly.
