I did a search and this popped up #1 for a not super targeted search
https://zapier.com/blog/best-ai-image-generator/
I clicked because it said 2024.
We have hit the window where anything with 2024 in the title will get a significant CTR boost.
The guy who wrote that article was on it early. It says it was posted on October 17, 2023 :o
I didn't do any investigation, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it is an update of an article published in October 2022. A minor tweak to a WP template (or any other CMS) will display the "last updated" date as the "published" date.
I have a Zapier subscription and think their content team is pretty good.
There was someone (the Viperchill guy?) who did some early date changes and tracked the results. That's where I originally got the idea.
I update dates in titles and H1/H2 tags for a corporate client here in Cape Town, simple but effective.
I compile a list of relevant articles, make the minor tweaks and then send to the client to see if it is worth their time to make major content updates to make it more relevant to 2024.
