Can anyone recommend an alternative to Domain Tools to create a list of domains a company owns?
Ultimately need a solution for more than one company but every journey starts with a single step and all that.
Domains Tools too costly and manually is out of the question...
If you need to search for all domains registered to a single entity in terms of .uk domains the best option is http://www.nominet.org.uk/other/prss/
Again not cheap particularly cheap though if costs are an issue...
The title of your thread mentions reverse IP, so perhaps if something like this might be of interest http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/web-sites-on-web-server/
I think this still works? http://www.bing.com/search?q=ip%3A195.81.248.139+&go=&qs=n&sk=&form=QBLH&filt=all
Not sure how accurate it is now.
Fairly sure this will do what you want at a fraction of the cost of domainTools >> http://www.whorush.com
WhoRush does look good. By tracking adsense ID's etc it's going to get round the people with the minimum savvy of having private WHOIS, difference nameservers and hosts.
Their database does look quite comprehensive too, it should definitely find matches for reasonably prominent domains.
I made this list and notes a few months ago:
http://spyonweb.com
http://reverseinternet.com/
domain/url, g analytics, adsense or clickbank
not very comprehensive, but free
http://adsspy.com/
was the most complete list of adsense, but now paid, site also down right now
http://sameowner.com/
adsense, google analytics
decent results returned
paid
http://www.webboar.com/tools/ns-lookup/
http://www.gwebtools.com/ns-spy/
reverse IP:
http://www.my-ip-neighbors.com/
http://www.ip-adress.com/reverse_ip/
http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/web-sites-on-web-server/
Thanks all. Much appreciated.
Great list Drastic.
I've been playing with them all and reckon I can get most of what I need with minimal fiddle. A task for Friday afternoon...
Drastic, AdsSpy is up (but broken); gwebtools.com is down.
Added: AdsSpy is now Whorush.com.
Damn, I missed this post somehow. Thanks Dras!
Rumbas, I am following you about today!
