That's well said. As the article alludes to, a lot of Nissan's problems seem to be endemic management problems and bad strategic decisions (ie. lack of hybrids). Maybe Honda's management can turn things around.
But the other point hinted at in the article is that most of the traditional car makers, in the US at least, just have not come out with many models. Long on talk and press releases but short on actually producing EV's. Around here I see more Tesla's on the roads and more Amazon EV delivery vans but few other EV's. Tesla is vulnerable with lots of weaknesses that could be exploited but without their own EV's the other car brands are stuck like a train without wheels, going nowhere fast.
