Has anyone experienced a lot of problems with Adcenter campaigns getting shut down by their QA team?
We keep running into this wall over and over again. We'll get campaigns up and running and within a few days they'll have 0 clicks and almost 0 impressions. When we talk to Adcenter they always give us a bullshit reason about why the campaign was paused by their QA team.
Is it us or does Adcenter just suck?
Overall I've found them easier to work with than adsense, though adcenter does have its quirks.
I've had some ads blocked that could be looked at as being "adultish", some dating, tobacco related, etc..
I've also had some issues with keywords disapproved due to "Inaccessible site" error. It does seem like the stated reason for disapproval are not always the reason why. Sometimes it seems random.
Microsoft are trying to take the same moral high ground stance, particularly in respect of "bolier plate" sites.
Unless you have something pretty unique in terms of content and look and feel you are always going to fall foul, but keep appealing the decisions and they will give you more information, that is not quite as ambiguous a Google, but it runs it a close second.
The bottom line if you are running any type of product that has affiliates then you are likely to suffer due to the lack of unique content.
I've had no problems putting blatant affiliate links straight into adcenter, as well as very 'thin' gateway sites.
>blatant affiliate links
Yeah, I don't think they care as long as the site sells real products and has a clear TOS. Google didn't care either until it decided to get into its own affiliate network.
