Title: Wordpress hosting in the UK
Post by: edo on July 21, 2011, 04:01:38 PM
Can anyone recommend a secure, fast, cheapish company in the UK for hosting a Wordpress site that would be getting around 200-500 visitors per day?

Came across this list but as they're all affiliate links I'm not going to take the author on his word:

Cheers,

I have been using Krystal.co.uk for a few years without issue.

Recently been using evohosting.co.uk who have also been very good.

I use shared hosting on both (not sure if it is what you need?) and they manage traffic well. (3,  100 - 1000 UV/day sites on evo.  15, 10 - 500 UV/day sites on Krystal)

Both have UK based servers.

34sp are worth a go too. No problems with them either and they're a bit cheaper.

Lots of good UK hosts - personal favourite would probably be Clook, though: http://www.clook.co.uk/

Focused on being reliable rather than being the cheapest, and been with them for years.
