We needed to get rid of some people from a photo because though we had copyright, we did not have model releases, so couldn't use the photo.

Go to Airbrush.com, tell it you want to get rid of people, it highlights the people, you select the ones to delete and POOF they are gone and even complex scenery behind them looks flawless.

3/day on the fee plan.

Honestly, breathtaking.

Just think how different history would be if the Soviets had access to this technology :-)

In Kundera's Book of Laughter and Forgetting (wonderful book), Foreign Minister Clementis gave his warm fur hat to Prime Minister Gottwald because it was cold but then Clementis was executed as a traitor and therefore airbrushed out of photos, but those in the know could always see his hat, a reminder that memory could not be entirely erased. Except, of course, now it can. Here are the two versions of the photos that Kundera describes

Also, makes me think of the erased cosmonauts.

Totalitarians have such a wonderful toolbox to totaliterrorize with these days.

That word currently has no results in Google. I think it is entirely new. You saw it here first.
