Some reasonably sober people say we have already met the Article V requirement because 3/4 of states have a measure demanding a convention. Congress is refusing to act in contravention of the Constitution. If enough AGs sue, SCOTUS could require it.

I think the fiscal picture is getting dire enough we could actually see this.

I would like to see a schedule for conventions (every 25 years) but I suspect there are a lot of unforeseen consequences that I wouldn't like (like it radically raises the stakes of elections that determine who attends).
