Title: The Last Quiet Thing
Post by: ergophobe on April 10, 2026, 10:12:46 PM
I posted too many links today, because all of them are kind of okay, so-so, might be interesting.

This is the ONE link I should have posted. Just read it. At least the first bit.

It is very much like some of the observations in Andry Crouch's book that I loved so much a couple years ago.

I follow a bunch of cranky bloggers that are into analog things, paper notebooks, pens, ink, manual typewriters, analog watches, Zettelkasten, etc., for exactly the same reasons stated in the link.  One day you wake up and realize you are spending way to much time just keeping all your tech happy.

Our first warning was in the late '70's having to reset the clock on our VCR after every little power glitch.
