I almost posted about Tilly a while back. It's pretty impressive tech.

Of course, there is a lot of gnashing of teeth and actors saying how awful this is. However, look at the crap Hollywood turns out. Spiderman 27 is appearing in theaters soon (I'm sure). The flip side that people note is that we are moving to a world where one person in a basement apartment can turn out a feature film much like one person can turn out a novel. The acting might be sub-par, but the room for innovative and interesting stories might increase because you're not betting $261,000,359 on Ryan Reynolds being able to bring in enough people to pay for those 3,000 people on that blockbuster movie (I think the last Avatar had 3500 people in the credits).
