This is not an invasion of privacy. This is documenting things that are visible from the street.
If they fielded a massive army of junior code compliance officers to drive every street, take pictures and have the situation evaluated later by senior officers, would that change anything?
Or, put another way, should we have laws on the books that are not enforced due to a lack of funding?
This is actually a big issue in our county - they are way behind on code compliance and it was the subject of many stormy meetings at the Board of Supervisors and in our little rural newspaper.
Of course, the big issue in our county is not *finding* violators, it is getting them to *do* something and AI monitors can't change that. For a full solution, we await the AI-driven RoboCops™ that will handle that end of things. And the RoboJudges™.
