With the upgrades to Xbox and Windows 8 coming it looks interesting.
How do you think it will do, and would you develop for it?
Xbox never took off in Japan. It's still lagging well behind Sony and Nintendo despite their recent advertising efforts showing off Kinect. And Windows Phone is only sold by one carrier. There isn't much incentive to develop for their platform yet, but I wouldn't count them out. A lot of people poo-pooed the chances of the iPhone over here too...
MS have squandered a real opportunity with indie games on xbox. There is an entire channel which is constantly pushed to the back, and could have flourished and become a real seed.
