I just learned that a college friend of mine died in 2009 just a month before her 40th birthday.  It hit me like a brick to the face.

Then, I saw this video of a kid who made a rube goldberg machine and it absolutely made me laugh and cheer and dance to the music at the same time.

I know how you feel about your friend. About 3 weeks ago I decided to look up my best friend from high school years, to find out he died a couple years ago.
