The question is:  how much do the printer cartridges cost?

I'm not sure what else is a consumable in 3D. My guess would be that the "print head" wears and has to be replaced periodically.

I'm waiting for the printer model that can handle 4-color objects.

I think this one does...they made a little model of the newcaster's head, and it was full-color.
