for anyone who hasn't had a look, do check out the bing search on a windows phone - I just had a play on an HTC Mozart and its reall really good. I actually think people will use it rather than bother about Google, and the results are also reasonable, probably not the best but good enough, especially on local, to prevent people getting frustrated.
Its not going to change the world but if anyone else does high street retail work it should be on the list of things to get sorted.....
We don't have Windows phones in Japan so I'm going to have to wait. I've tried the Bing app on my iPhone. It looks like it could be handy. The biggest problem I had was that there is no local Japanese content on Bing yet...at least not the app. It had some useful looking features for the person looking to go out an do something though.
