At the bottom of a members profile there is link "Show the last posts of this person." I use this to find a post I know someone made but don't really recall the specific forum or thread.
For example:
Members > Rumbas > Show the last posts of this person (http://th3core.com/talk/profile/?u=5;sa=showPosts)
