Title: Content with links distribution providers
Post by: BST on July 26, 2012, 05:51:08 PM
Hi,
I'm looking to get out some content with links (in the UK financial vertical) via sponsored guest posts, featured articles and etc.

Can you recommend some providers (site/blog owners) or agencies (with connections/lists to sites we can publish on) that can help in that matter?

if you've been hit by penguin, and not recovered yet, I personally wouldn't go to any network that allows itself to be recommended publicly :)

One obvious suggestion would be for you to check the backlinks of your top performing competitors and approach those website owners.

I'm not looking for a network but some individual publishers or an agency that have already build a list with publishers (not connected in any way) willing to publish a guest post or a featured article.

This is standard media outreach, nothing to hide.

If some provider/agency has to remain private, there is always a PM  :)

Same here! It would be extremely useful to have publishers gathered on one website and be able to submit articles.

BST posted in 2012.  The thread was brought back from the depths by a new member, Jago.

Welcome Jago, please tell us a bit about yourself in this thread (http://th3core.com/talk/water-coolerextra/the-official-introduction-thread/).

Some times they don't even fade away
http://th3core.com/talk/water-coolerextra/terminator-scenario/ - that one is soon to celebrate its sixth birthday!

Yes true.. It keeps being fed though.  One day.. or night when I cannot sleep, I will read it from start to finish.

And how rude of me, welcome Jago.

I have to say, getting anywhere with media is still as difficult as it used to be.

That terminator thread actually goes way back to the old private board, it is probably at least ten years old.  It has morphed a bit though, before it was all about how the bots were going to kill us, now we seem to talk more about how they are going to make us irrelevant.

I'd rather be dead than irrelevant!

I got an email from a guy that gets posts/links on things like huff post etc, is that the kind of thing you mean ?

Irrelevant may be to strong of a word, unless you equate work with personhood.  What I was specifically talking about is how that thread has more recently highlighted the coming mass-unemployment due to automation and artificial intelligence.

Don't you mean the coming leisure-society ? ;+}

Rupert, thank you for the list you provided. I went through these and its not quite what I've been looking for. We have a nice tool in Poland called Whitepress, they cooperate with plenty of local online news channels, hundreds of them really and I can check their domain authority and other parameters and submit sponsored article where I describe what my company does and what service we offer. There isnt any plan, we just pay for articles when we sumbit them.

I was looking for the equivalent in the UK and I struggle to find one. Whenever I go to local news channels like yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk and other similar ones, they all have "Advertise with us" sites, but it not really time efficient to go though them spearately instead of having them in one place. :)
