Title: iAd vs Adwords for Mobile App Marketing
Post by: jcoronella on November 15, 2012, 02:17:28 PM

Seems you can target iTunes App Store in Google, and I cannot see any reason to have a minimum buy and no out clause to go through iAd.

Anyone have any experience here?

Sorry JC, none at all. Ran a small campaign on Admob a few years ago and was surprised about the volume.

So I've found some properties (apps) that I know I want to target.  They run a mix of iAd and Google, probably through a rotator like adwhirl.  Because iAd commands a higher CPC, they get more of the inventory so if I want it I have to pony up.

Other than that... no tracking. more expensive. just a shiny Apple exterior.
