This might seem a silly question, but I want to start a blog wherein I can remain anonymous to the general public, therefore I kinda want to keep it as a subdomain on a free host.
Placing ads on it would be a nice option but not all that important. That kinda leaves out Wordpress.com.
So far I'm looking at Blogger, Blog.com, Tumblr:
Blogger - the usual problems with anything Googlie. I don't really mind if G knows its me writing this blog it's just that G wants to share stuff with all their other services and that might be a pain. Placing ads is not a problem so that is a plus.
Blog.com - no experience. No ads on free service.
Tumblr - I keep hearing about it. Most seem like people posting photos, but I'm guessing you can post text. How Search engine friendly is Tumblr?
Anyone have any insights on the three above, or can you name a free blog host I have overlooked?
