So I'm writing a criminal drama story in 3 parts for one blog, fiction based on a real case I've investigated a while ago, where everybody including G get fecked up by a spammer and it takes a blackhat's skills to uncover what has really happened. One thing I cannot come up is the title for the story.
It's been ages since I've read anything other than marketing and tech related stuff. Do any of you read any criminal stories? I want a title that refers to some popular story yet plays on the specifics of my actual story. If you could guide me in terms of actual popular titles that would be recognizable enough for most readers that would be really really cool... Or it could refer to some recent film, I don't know.
50 shades of black
Thanks NFFC, I approximately know how to play over this one if I don't get any better suggestions. Might be slightly lame but will be recognizable enough. Any more suggestions?
meta-taggart.
that's a shoe in as the worst suggestion.
The girl who kicked the spammers nest?
And picking up on Gurtie, but hat tip instead to Conan Doyle: A Study in Black
Often those kinds of airport shop crime novels have short, punchy titles. I'll go for the prosaic Dark Web.
