heh! that reminds me of when they pick cotton here. there are piles of it left along side the road and the stuff takes forever to rot. looks like we have the sludge-y remains of a big snowstorm lying in the field.
if you live or travel on the roads leading to the gin it's kind of depressing. millions of pieces of trashy-looking bits of cotton all down the road shoulders. looks like littering on steroids.
