Title: Other ad networks
Post by: Chunkford on April 23, 2013, 01:01:36 PM
If I can't use Google to promote the products I sell, who would you recommend as the next best thing?

EDIT: I think I need to read up up on this. Life outside of Google is a scary place.

Thanks for that.

EDIT: looking more closely at my competitor ads, companies like thetradedesk and adconion get mentioned.
Is there a dummies guide to this as that's how I'm feeling ATM?

have you looked at things like A&NY and Tradedoubler (Display advertising) - their rules may be less firm (although you might struggle to get on some network properties) but with some clever design you can normally get around the rules enough to get ads up with careful images and wording. The targeting options are very good now so you should have some success if you can get an ad up!
