According to Pfizer, only 3% of websites actually sell a real version of the drug, and the rest are selling little blue pills that do little or nothing.
Viagra Makers Target Spammers Hard [Hard - HHH]

That's actually scary. If you're lucky, you'll get a pill that doesn't harm you. God knows what *could* be in it..
IS GETTING LAID ;D

True I would guess but through the eyes of "our branded version of a generic compound".
Two things are happening, the generic version is being manufactured and sold much cheaper (understandable when they don't have the RD and marketing costs) and/or any little blue pill will have largely the effect of the Viagra blue pill (the placebo effect is real and very strong).
Either way Pfizer loses.
The way they lose the most though, imho, is in entering the online market. In one stroke they promote and expand the channel beyond all measure. It doesn't matter if you are selling the real, the generic or the downright fake a big player entering the market will raise all boats.
