Title: Email Broadcasters
Post by: ukgimp on October 31, 2010, 08:53:34 PM
Any recommendations?

I have used Graphicmail in the UK, but they got shitty over my account (i got a couple of complaints from a 40K mailout)

They also had the arse with the fact that I had multiple lists for different businesses, why I am not sure. I think it may have been a way to give me the push :-)

Been using Aweber for a while on a couple of Danish language lists. Awesome delivery rates and ok interface with bells and whistles. SHITTY handling of Danish characters though.

Seen aweber.

I know Karl and Ben from Conversion rate experts use them, but they have aweber urls instead of target ones, so I dont like clicking them. I have told them this but they still send out aweber links.

That will be because they don't care if you click on them or not Rich :)

Their target audience probably don't notice them.  FWIW I don't click on them either.

Sure, they need the ctr and click stats. Gives you the ability to send an email to only the people who clicked a specific link :)

I have got lists of various professionals that j wish to contact re some of my websites.

I just want stuff to get through and be tracked a little.

Exactly how would you do it.

What about white lists and mails getting through. I am not spamming as such either, targeted emails, but you know I have upset a few characters in the past :-)

I like easy :-)

I'd NEVER run it off my own host. Once that box/host/ip gets reported to Spamcop et all, then you're toast and delivery rate will crash. Pay someone to make sure you're getting though imo.

That's easy.

Good point Jason.

BUT someone with no ability to run a server and handle at 40K list of emails, the paid route is the only way.. at least for me.
