has anyone here used Intellichat, or any of those other automated services pretending to be human chat? It would be a nice way for a specifric client to check out the idea at low cost but I'm worried that it would appear obviously automated (however, would it to anyone not aware that it might be? the target market for this client are pretty low tech in general) and also that it wouldn't perform very well on a large list of potential questions (site offers different sizes, colours, materials and ranges, there's a lot of common questions could be asked across that variety).
I'm also wondering if any of the commission based auto-chats would sign up for a high ticket generally offline purchase model? Has anyone tested a conversion based on anything other than purchase? (like clicking to download a map, receive voucher, etc?)
yeah, plus store location, opening hours, warranty period etc. But there's a huge range of answers depending on the product.... I could probably write a suitable FAQ based on product and then questions, but if it only looks for a 'close' answer and not a 'precise' answer its very likely to hand out wrong info.
