Egads. I hate those things.

Fortunately all of my blocking and filtering on my browsers seems to block that. I had to use an unfettered browser in a VM to see the survey popup.

I'm glad they'll be charging for this and not making it free. Otherwise I could see this crap on every website overnight.

You know... I prefer User Voice style widget that let's me ask real questions of my choosing, but the Google thing is not that bad. It's fairly unobtrusive. If you click the close button, short of clearing your cache it won't come back, even with a hard refresh.
