Not good - on my old phone with an old version of Android, I wonder if Motorola will push  out a fix for me.

Shock horror: There is a risk to your phone if you disable the built in safeguard (allow installation of applications from third party websites), visit a dodgy website and then download software from there from either the official store or one of the well known trusted alternatives.

The Beeb does love to bash any mobile OS that isn't fruit based though = largely thanks to the near fanboi  status of Rory Cellan-Jones and his wider lack of knowledge about most of the technology he seems to cover.
