Title: Epic: Chromium based privacy browser
Post by: bill on September 09, 2013, 05:17:00 AM
Spotted this today: http://www.epicbrowser.com/

It's a browser that runs on Chromium, but it has all the privacy turned up to 11. I can't see using something like this for everyday browsing, but it might be a nice tool for the arsenal.  This doesn't anonymize you like Tor, but it keeps all the tracking tidbits away.

Interesting... and educational. I didn't even know about evercookies.

evercookies have been around for a few years. They're evil.

Supposedly a browser like this might reduce your browser fingerprint. You can't modify it much, so to the people trying to identify you would only see you were using Epic.
