Title: Outlook.com now has IMAP
Post by: bill on September 13, 2013, 04:28:33 AM
Outlook.com now has IMAP (http://blogs.office.com/b/microsoft-outlook/archive/2013/09/12/outlook-com-now-with-imap.aspx)

Microsoft's free mail accounts have moved to the 21st century! Not sure why it took them so long.

I didn't think I'd see Microsoft admitting that there are people who can't use Exchange.  ::) Exchange is a wonderful thing when you have it up and running with a bunch of nameless IT drones maintaining it in the background. If you want a free e-mail app that supports Exchange, forget it, particularly on mobile.
