Now, no guest blogging

Hmmm... So it's spammy, but it's OK for some sites, and it you're doing it right...
That article ranked on one of the member-voted tech sites I read. Same ol' routine.
FUD
Tish, might have known you would beat me to it RC.

Rooftop beat us both to it but it was on G+ so that doesn't count. I only saw his post after I'd posted, btw.
re G+...
My feed is tuned, by neglect and happenstance, to SEO. Out of boredom, I just went to peek at it yesterday. It is, without a doubt, the most depressing, whitewashed, trivialized thing I have seen in a long time. Fuck, seo is dead if that G+ drivel is to be a gauge.
What's the white hats going to do now!?
There's only so many times you can tweak a page title
That Rofftop, he's quick!
Get links from the BBC, the papers etc by making up stories. (Ah, so thats not so white hat is it? )
Ok, try, "work for a multi-national that does what its told."
Snooze you lose ;)
It did all sound like a big fat mutts tantrum to me. "Well, fuck you all... I'm taking my ball back". It's their way of saying "the spammers beat us again... We can't tell the shit from the shiny"
oh arse, I just posted it too. But I have a proper job and only just read it :)
Most interesting think I thought was a comment by MC about nofollows meaning pagerank is not effected. Which makes me wonder what nofollows genuinely do or don't effect since pagerank is a word used by people who don't do SEO, and Matt clearly knows exactly what he's saying.....
now I'll go delete my post!
Quotesince pagerank is a word used by people who don't do SEO
So true.
