Things certainly work differently over there.

A few years ago our guy needed to come see us here in CPH. If we hadn't hired him and hence being able to send him to the foreign ministery for a visa, he would have spend over 3 months waiting and maybe never get it. Using the right channels and a errrm, bribe of $25, he got his stamps in 10 mins...
