Title: Facebook & Videos
Post by: Chunkford on March 16, 2014, 06:11:25 PM
I've come to the conclusion, video that you upload to Facebook not linked from places like youtube, gets far more reach than any other type of post.

Would say this is correct?

Yes and by a wide margin.

Makes sense I suppose.  Everyone is fighting for a share of TV ad spend.  Video is the gateway to that and facebook must be very aware of how Google have been using youtube as a way into big ad agencies with the aim of charming them to use the rest of the network.

It's a crazy difference.
Posted two videos 4 days ago, bearing in mind my page only has 44 likes and the linked video from youtube has had 61 people see it, and the video directly uploaded (that I ripped from youtube) has had 398 see it.
