I saw this article 10 Facebook Pages Every Marketer Should Follow (http://www.allfacebook.com/10-facebook-pages-every-marketing-professional-should-follow-2010-12) and thought this is a very new way to ask people to follow news. Traditionally I'd just grab the RSS feed or subscribe to their Twitter feed. I thought FaceBook was more for the friends and social aspect.
there are so many social media experts they all have to try and find something new to write about.... I wouldn't imagine that they're all necessarily talking about reality, even their own version of it.
Also, if you're running a site, it's relatively easy to sync your rss to a Twitter and/or facebook posting script. But facebook is quickly becoming the 1000-armed octopus of the web... Google must feel so "must catch up" mustn't they?
I must admit I'm guilty of exactly that. I often add a site/comp to my twitter feed or FB just to keep up.

Well we are in December and it is uusually the month for the the "top 10, 10 best, 7 worst" linkbait type of posts.
Easy links, just write a semi-flattering blog post recommending people and let them do all the work sending traffic to your page.
Love it.
That's good advice Jim, simple but elegant.
