Title: It's the Info Age...
Post by: Drastic on May 22, 2014, 06:11:16 PM
...or is it just laziness?

Notice the mailcarrier dropping off out front, curious if my piece of hardware I ordered came, my first inclination is to look at the tracking online. Wife just threw up her hands and went to the mailbox.

In my defense, I had the answer before she got halfway there...

Reminds me of a favorite birthday card from many years ago.

Father and son sitting on the couch watching TV with the caption attached to the father saying: "You think you've got it rough? Back in my day, if we wanted to change the channel we had to get up, walk six feet, physically turn the dial, and walk six feet back."

The problem with flying drones delivering pizzas (or anything else for that matter) is that they don't take into account the happy-go-lucky labrador puppy on the other end who would pounce on the drone, eat the pizza and then follow up by making the drone a chew toy.

Seriously, Sebastian would go nuts if he saw a flying pizza come to the door.
