Looks like a slow introduction of Bing to Apple users, to get them used to it.

Arrgh, now Apple, don't you push Bing to the point of popularity and where we need to look into doing seo as well. Here, Google is 90% - let's keep it nice and neat please.

I think LM is onto something.

1. Apple needs their own search engine, especially in a Google Web.

2. Testing Bing to see if there is backlash is wise.

3. Even if MS refuses to sell Bing, Apple could buy DDG or Yahoo both of which use Bing.

The thing is they could buy DDG for a song, Yahoo would cost a lot more but comes with content.
