So, did you jump on it?

If not, how about you get started by the end of Monday or you owe another corecommit member a p4+ homepage link for 3 months.

How's that for motivation?

I promised my wife I would do 50 pullups and 100 pushups yesterday... so spent the evening making good on that promise (also went for a 2-hour mountain bike ride with her in the morning, but wanted something for the upper body).

Unfortuntely I've been grounded due to a some nasty lower back issues and haven't been able to do much lately rather than standing up or laying down. Seeing a chiropractor a couple of times a week and doing some light training at home. Getting 40 is taking it's toll.. I'll be back tho!

Sorry to hear man. Look up "applied kinesiology" which is a branch of chiro. The only thing that fixed my back (hurt doing squats) without surgery.

If you have one nearby, worth looking into. They can also fix joints, fixed my elbow once, and helped a buddy with tmj as well. (lockjaw)

Hope you get it sorted soon bro, I've been there where the only way you can stand up is to lay on the floor, keep back straight as a board and rotate around to get up.

>Drastic Awesome run, well done.
Thanks! but not done yet. Friday will make 50/50, and if I'm lucky I'll get a dirt bike ride in Sat. to celebrate.

Exactly buddy - pretty f-ing annoying and makes it kind of hard to work at the office. Getting a sore neck as well from laying on my stomach typing.. Flying to Vegas in 2 weeks is not something I look forward too either.

50/50 for the gym for 10 weeks, I do believe I'm in the best shape I've ever been.

Mmm, I tend to try to get an event on the horizon to get fit for.
nothing planned passed a short local run through muddy fields.

I think the weekly activity works just fine for me here. Gives me a nudge if nothing is happening.

How does all this work, when does it begin/end ?

I've just given up smokin (e-fags ftw!) and TRYING to cut down on the booze.

I've bought a book on body-weight exercises (which is all i'm fit for right now !).

When's the next start ?

We each set our own weekly exercise goals and then post here what we did over the past week on Monday.  I, for example,  set as my goal four workouts a week.

Lets start Monday, Oct 20 and end on Dec 29.  That will be 10 weeks if I did the math right.

Thats good with me.

Welcome GM66 :)
I am going for 4 exercises per week, but will be doing them all next week (just kiddin) ....as I will be on holiday in Turkey...
sun, sailing, tennis good food, family, friends, waterskiing, diving, swimming... too much to fit in.

So I will be sad on the first week report in, but full of 21/20. (secretly trying to get ahead of Drastic :P)
