Having a previewable list of where the xrumer links would go seems a bit daft though, like the writer said... you could just go 'disavow' them.

To paraphrase Google: We provided the disavow tool, so stop bugging us about it.
At least SEL mentions that Google used to say there was very little a competitor could do to you and how that has changed. Sounds like a deterioration of the algorithm to me.
