Title: Stated Panda factors gathered together.

Some hyperbole in the title, but the list is still interesting.

Agree.  It's a good list put together by someone with an axe to grind (haven't we all for something or other?).  But a useful collection none the less.

It's interesting to see the evolution of consensus around Panda shifting from thin content to user signals as the main focus.

The academic in me loves the citations. It's definitely a nice list and though I didn't verify the citations... at least in theory it's not based on vague memories of something someone said once in a session at some conference.

"And not, instead, leave us with a list of vague questions, written by Matt Cutts (he admitted to me) which, for reasons not so hard to infer, he put Amit Singhal's name on instead."

Really ?
