Not surprising... I heard that this year ClickZ tried to make speakers pay substantial sums just for the privilege of speaking. Which means they are essentially pay for the right to pitch. I also heard they had to back off that because a lot of core speakers told them to stuff it, but it tells you where their mind is.
... all rumors. I'm not really tapped into that stuff, so maybe I have it wrong.
