Impressive. I once read something about the famous MacDonald's coffee case, widely lampooned, but when you get into the details like that, I came down siding with the plaintiff too. For all the complaining about frivolous law suits, many companies are unwilling to sacrifice the bottom line to do what's right, so it falls to lawyers to make sure that doing what's wrong ends up hurting the bottom line even more.
