Judicial systems (US & EU) are, IMO, the last great hope for some semblance of privacy against the tech-police state evolving in the western world. In the US, it's only been within the last year or so that enough court rulings have accumulated to provide almost-reasonable protection from police retaliation for filming them while on duty.
