...I finally went and watched the video; wow. I felt like it was a tool for doing work, not just a ton a data that looks pretty on charts.
Anyone using it on here? Sure seems useful.
I talked my PPC client into getting Spyfu ... it's a useful research tool.
I have to say, though, that its usefulness declines over time because you've already learned or done most of what it's telling you.
As with all tools, use your best human judgement before taking its advice.
I used to have a paid account.
I feel like the only way to use the data is to have a couple of knowns in the niche and compare the data spyfu gives you with what you know and make adjustments from there.
I've found that within a givne area, it tends to be off by similar amounts. So if the real traffic, say, is 2-4x what Spyfu says it is, then that range probably holds up.
