Jason is right. There's only one way to know for sure. Test, test, test.
Studies show that if you try to keep all else the same in an exercise physiology lab test and change only the gender of the person running the test, men lift more and run faster if the investigator is female.
Whether they get more efficient at programming is open for debate....
