Title: Why is google broken?
Post by: Rupert on October 06, 2015, 03:01:57 PM
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=2014+best+2014+phone+2014+android+2014+uk+2014&oq=2014+best+2014+phone+2014+android+2014+uk+2014&gs_l=serp.3...316.4615.0.5507.4.4.0.0.0.0.271.725.0j2j2.4.0....0...1c.1.64.serp..3.1.143.zoPWV0RA8nk

Why, no matter how many times I ask for 2014 phones, does Google give me 2015 phone reviews?

Its OK, no response required.  Just having a rant.

Nexus 5 is the answer BTW :)

Well, its on the list.  I have the Nexus 4, and it is quite big enough.. and I was thinking about something different.
A sony Z3, or back to an HTC M8.

Until I looked on ebay.. New Nexus 5 for £128, from Hong Kong.

what's not to like?

Agreed with JD.

I was wondering about giving mine to Mrs RT and buying a new nexus when they were announced.  Can't see much advantage in the news ones though. Maybe an excuse to go for a bigger screen to rest my 3-year older eyes, but it feels like phones are plateauing

Ok, bought the 5 from Hong Kong, £124 for a new one.
The current ones screen will survive 35 business days.
