I quite like this and feel slightly proud.
I saw it going mad on FB and loved it then. Here is a Radio 5 interview with the guy.
It's great..... No guns, and put on a jumper!

You should be. Very nice island you've built.
Having switches at sockets is a good one, and "pay the price displayed".
We don't do Summer times and cheap petrol though.
Oh and it did mention no guns...
I agree, very nice country over there. What I found interesting is the cultural differences. The Brits I have met tend to be more free with their opinions than Americans. They are less afraid of taking jabs at each other -- might be the lack of guns :).
Re cops:
Is there a UK equivalent of the war on drugs? I think our policies when it some to drugs have gone a long way to militarize our law enforcement. We seem to be in the beginning stages of starting to undo some of that.
The war on drugs is probably similar, there's lots of drugs about and a lack of police resources to properly enforce the laws on them.
The gun thing seems pretty huge when it comes to cops. Seems like US cops have to live a lot closer to the edge knowing that in a split second a gun can be produced, surely that leads to an edgier relationship.
Spot on imo.
..and could be true for the Scandinavians as well. We are quite similar in many ways.
Add to that Ras for Scandinavia
Beer is the most expensive in the entire world.
