Title: delisted - content safe for reuse?
Post by: Gurtie on January 10, 2011, 01:52:44 PM
Just wondered if any of you reuse the content of delisted websites on a new domain? It seems a pity to waste it, but reuse would obviously be very easy to detect and therefore could implicate another little network etc. I suppose it would be a way to reuse the old links by swapping them all (too paranoid to change any of them to another site anyway)

does anyone do this and if so whats the lifetime on average? Or is it better to employ the time honoured 'if it doesn't bring cash from yahoo sell links until someone notices' method?

We have just tried working out how long it takes content to drop from free blogs if you delete them.  It cleans out pretty quickly and re passes a copyscape check within weeks.  Whether you would be happy to use it I think is down to the nature of the content.  Gaming, Adult wouldnt be so but other topics in broad safe verticals I cant see the problem.

Not done exactly that, but I have re-used banned ebay aff sites without problems... but of course the content is always changing, so it is only the keywords and site structure that would be affected.

Worth risking a cheap .info to find out I guess

Everything out deserves a 2nd chance.

As NFFC once said; Let's resurrect it. All of it.
