Title: What's the current state of EU anti-cookie laws?

Fully implemented? Enforced?  I don't see much mention.

Almost all seem to have gone the pop up message style, I guess that's what the people who make money for "advising" advised and charged for.

We on the other hand went with the Apple UK method. Not in jail yet.

Most EU, especially Northern EU, companies are quite compliant in most legislation and that includes this piece of law.

I was speaking with an internet specialist lawyer the other day and this popped up in our chat. He is aware of no enforcement action from any of the individual states agencies and thinks that will stay that way. I have to say, we don't do it on TDN and that's unlikely to change.
